What Is This Thing?¶

Asgard is a new breed of internet server. Everything you need to develop, deploy, and manage internet-based applications, web sites, and more - all in one box.
Asgard open source software and is licensed under the GPL3 license .

What's the Goal?¶

Starting with SQL and HTTP servers, Asgard will expand to cover SMTP, IMAP, POP3, DNS, SSH, XMPP, FTP, and more! A subproject, Valhalla, will be kicked off once more of Asgard is complete to allow easy building of web sites and social networks.

Asgard also provides developers with a friendly environment on which to build new applications, servers, and plugins.
